A quick in state mission to visit one of our favorite, not so secret winter playgrounds -Silverton Mountain Resort. Nestled within the heart of the craggy San Juan Mountains, SMR touts the "highest and steepest ski area in North America". A recent change in ownership prompted Powder Magazine to get a "boots on the ground" look into what's shakin'. We're happy to report - it's business as usual with some exciting upgrades and amenities yet to come. But for now, as much powder and good times as your legs can handle. See you out there!
